GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna Are Now Available in EidoStack
GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna are now available in EidoStack. Test both models with your own prompts, compare their responses, and analyze token usage and API costs.

OpenAI recently introduced GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna, expanding the GPT-6 family with two new models designed for different balances of capability, speed, and cost.
Today, both models are available in EidoStack.
You can now select GPT-6 Sol or GPT-6 Luna in EidoStack, test them with your own prompts, compare their responses side by side, and analyze token usage and API costs.
Meet GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna
The GPT-6 family now includes GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6 Sol, and GPT-6 Luna.
OpenAI positions GPT-6 Sol as a model for demanding coding and agentic workflows where strong reasoning is important while keeping costs below GPT-6 Astra.
GPT-6 Luna is optimized for efficient, high-volume workloads, making it particularly interesting for applications where API cost and throughput matter.
Both models support a 1.05 million token context window and up to 128,000 output tokens.
API Pricing
One of the most interesting differences between the two models is pricing.
| Model | Input | Cached Input | Output |
|---|---|---|---|
| GPT-6 Sol | $2.00 / 1M tokens | $0.20 / 1M tokens | $10.00 / 1M tokens |
| GPT-6 Luna | $0.10 / 1M tokens | $0.01 / 1M tokens | $0.50 / 1M tokens |
For applications processing a large amount of text, the difference can be significant.
GPT-6 Luna is especially interesting for workloads where many requests need to be processed while keeping inference costs low.
But token price alone does not tell you which model is the right choice for your application.
That is exactly where evaluation becomes useful.
Compare GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna in EidoStack
Instead of choosing a model only from benchmarks or pricing tables, you can test both models using prompts and context from your actual application.
With EidoStack, you can:
- run the same prompt with GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna;
- compare model responses side by side;
- inspect input and output token usage;
- analyze estimated API costs;
- experiment with system prompts and context;
- evaluate how different models behave on your specific workload.
For example, you might find that GPT-6 Sol produces a better result for a complex coding task, while GPT-6 Luna provides sufficient quality for a much lower API cost on simpler or high-volume requests.
The right model depends on the workload.
EidoStack helps you measure that trade-off before putting a model into production.
GPT-6 Sol
GPT-6 Sol is now available in the EidoStack model selector.
It is an interesting option for workloads involving complex reasoning, coding, and agentic tasks where model capability is a priority.
You can test it independently or compare it directly with other models using EidoStack Compare Mode.
GPT-6 Luna
GPT-6 Luna is also available in the EidoStack model selector.
Its significantly lower token pricing makes it particularly interesting for high-volume workloads and applications where inference cost is an important part of model selection.
Testing Luna against more capable and expensive models can help determine whether the additional model cost actually improves results for your workload.
